This garage provides parking for 6 cars for an automobile collector in Seattle. It was designed to provide not only storage space, but also a pleasant atmosphere for car maintenance.
 
The mass of the building was broken into two separate parts so that it doesn’t overwhelm the scale of the neighborhood. The two parts of the garage are rendered in different colors and materials to add further character. Materials and colors were drawn from the bright bodywork of cars from the 1970s era.
